Please help:
I finally managed to re-install XP Home (Basically a new install with all
the drivers etc.) Question: When I boot I have to choose 1 out of 3
directories (2 don't work). How do I get rid of the 2 failed Installations??
Add/Remove doesn't work and using Windows Explorer seems quite dangerous..
Thanks for reply
Klaus

I too have the same problem only I have a desktop. What
it is is that there is an 8 mb boot sector when redoing a
dell computer. That 8 mb is not bootable. Dell stores
some utillities there that you can run if you are having
serious problems. You will have to format that 8mb, that
is very risky. Dell will not support me on that one.
You will lose all of those utillities

Start..run...type msconfig...boot.ini tab and click check all boot
paths.
