Till a few days back, whenever I used to run chkdsk on my c drive (NTFS),
after checking the two; 'Automatically fix file system errors' & 'Scan for
and attempt recovery of bad sectors' options, a text file names 'bootex' was
generated in c drive, which would contain the details of chkdsk. I don't
know what happened but suddenly, windows has stopped generating the 'bootex'
text file. I have tried to search it everywhere. Maybe some settings needs
to be readjusted. Can someone tell me as to what am I missing?

You should be able to see the same information in your Event Viewer.
Open Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer -> System.

Can you please tell me the event no? I have failed to find it there.

It will be listed as an event for Winlogon. If you can't locate it in the
System branch, check Applications.
