I have two HD's, one with XP MCE 2005 and the second with Vista Beta 2. I had
problem with vista, so I reformated the HD that vista was installed on. Now
when I start my computer I still get the Vista boot manager. I want to remove
that and go back to the origional way XP booted. Thanks

Hi,

Boot the WinXP CD and load the Recovery Console by hitting "r" when
prompted. Logon to the installation, then run fixmbr.

Thanks for your replies, Rick and Keith. I first tried 'FIXMBR' from the
recovery console, and it failed to work. Then I did 'FIXBOOT' and it solved
the problem.
