I posted a problem a few days ago about the problem I was having while
booting my system. I received an answer suggesting I run a program 'sfc
/scannow'. I followed this advice but unfortunately it has not solved my
problem.
On switching on my computer I still receive an intermittent problem which
produces the following errors:
'odbcint.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check against your
installation diskette.'
'sfc.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check against your
installation diskette.'
'The logon user interface DLL msgina.dll failed to load'
The thing I don't understand is that if there is a problem with the files I
should always receive this error and not just some of the time.
I have also found a new problem with my computer with using news groups.
That is when I subscribe to a news group through Outlook Express all my
settings are lost when my wife uses Outlook express on her ID. I have a
folder on my D: drive that I use for our mail accounts which is shared. I
am assuming that this will be the problem.
Any help on either of these problems would be greatly appreciated.
