I recently bought I system with Microsoft XP Professional
pre-installed. I already had to take it to a data
specialist to recover my files. I know if I had a copy
of a legit XP version I could restore the system myself

So my question is that I saw something on the windows
site that would make you have a boot disk with 6 floppy
disk. When windows won't boot, could I use this disk to
make my system boot, or will these disk erase my hard
drive?

Please let me know

Hi Ant,

The primary purpose of the floppy disks you are referring to is to boot in
order to have access to the Winodws XP CD. They are not boot disks in the
MS-DOS way of thinking of a boot disk.
