Boot to OS/2 Option locate BIOS, How dos work?

I see you're back as "Yasmin" instead of Mehrad. Didn't like any of the
answers you got over the last few weeks? The answer is still the same:

/YellowPages/ComputerRepair

As for the above question, it has nothing to do with XP. Use Google.

Malke

It's a BIOS compatibility feature for the OS/2 operating system. Leave
it set to NO. For further information, please read the motherboard user
manual, which will be found on the motherboard manufacturers website,

I don't want to "befool you", whatever that means. You keep posting
questions about problems that are scattershot. You get answers, which
you ignore. This has nothing to do with gender and everything to do
with why you are getting piecemeal answers.

If you are having all these difficulties with one computer, you
seriously need to take it to a professional or post back properly - in
*one* thread with *all* necessary details. Doing otherwise is just
annoying. Go here to see how to make a good newsgroup post and then
come back with *one* post including *all* the details.

If you are trying to gather information about computers, use Google. If
you are doing homework, use Google. If you are having difficulties with
multiple computers at your workplace and you are the person who has to
deal with them, then explain your setup clearly so we have the whole
picture. Or call in a professional and have them straighten things out.

Huh?

Hey Yasmin,

What exactly is the problem with your Windows XP? Malke can only answer
your question if you post it on this Newsgroup. The real windup is none
other than certain: "Ken Blake, MVP"
(e-mail address removed)>. He feels left out if he is not
involved or invited to get involved!.

So what is your question and let us start all over again.

Have a nice time.

I have read an number of responses from Malke, I cannot find ONE that is not
informative, to the point and (perhaps more importantly) correct. I for one,
can learn a great deal just by reading her posts!
Not one of the posts I have read has been derogatory to the OP no matter how
the question or comment was worded, even in her response to this drivel she
was courteous and to the point, if you don't want intelligent advice don't
ask the question.

Malke you are obviously too well trained and too quick to help, some don't
like that.

Regards,
Martin (male for what difference it makes, I don't think my PC cares)

Thank you for your kind and lovely words, Martin. I will treasure them.
Thank you for also understanding what I was trying to tell the OP.

Cheers,

Malke (female and of course it doesn't matter to our PC's - they love us
no matter what we look like)

I must agree with Martin -- never an un-helpful post etc, however,
I must disagree with "they love us" (the computers) -- some days
they are definitely "possessed" !! :-)

I was curious the other day and looked at some of my windows
"save" folders that I keep posts in that I find helpful. "Malke"
was the poster in a very significant number of the ones I kept as
"good info".

Keep up the good work Malke !!!

You're worried whether we'll refuse to answer questions
in this newsgroup because of an person's gender? Nonsense!
That's probably typical in your country but not in the USA
and Europe.

Besides, none of us can tell the gender of Mehrad
or Yasmin apart. They could both be masculine or
feminine names as far as we can tell.

Review the Google links about booting to OS/2 as shown below:

http://www.google.com/search?source...2005-34,GGLD:en&q=how+to+boot+to+OS/2+from+XP

Good luck.

Awww...blush, blush. Seriously, you two have made what started out as a
rather rotten day much, much better. You've made me remember why I help
out here.

Try speaking sweetly to your boxen. If that doesn't work, threaten them.
It's a last resort, but sometimes I ask them if they want to be
replaced with a Mac. (For the Mac lovers, that's a joke; I like Macs
too).

Now off to work.

Malke

i understand form those posts that i was unable to post complete of detals
questions, anyway problem and question still occure with people and those

Thanks to all
Mehrad.

You are suffering from identity crisis. You have to make up your mind
