Hi all -
I just recently reformatted and installed XP Home to XP Pro. I deleted my
partitions, but it did not give me a choice for Fat32 only NTFS (sp?).
Directly afterwards, as it was installing it said (Raw). XP Pro installed
without a hitch, but each time I reboot it asks me which OS that I want to
run (Home or Pro). Pro loads fine, but when I select Home, as I guessed, it
wouldn't allow. My questions are, how do I remove this option so I don't have
to hit enter with each reboot? Moreover, is Home still taking up space on my
hard drive? Thanks for any help you can give.

Start | Run | Type: msconfig | OK |
Boot.ini tab | Check All Boot Paths button |
A dialog box will open detailing the location of any invalid operating
system locations | Confirm you want to remove the entry and reboot

[[Check All Boot Paths - This button will check the boot paths for all
operating systems listed in the BOOT.INI to ensure they point to a valid
operating system. ]]

If there is only one you will get:
It appears that all BOOT.INI lines for Microsoft operating systems are OK.
