boot sector virus

how do i rid of boot sector virus with a recently reformatted hard drive.

something that will fit in a floppy. please direct me to a site where i can
download a fix. thanks!

i think you may be confused... nothing will run if you don't have an
OS... the computer won't boot...

what you need is a dos boot disk to go with your f-prot for dos
recovery disk set...

Try IVINIT from http://invircible.com/iv_tools.php

As boot disk (floppy), you can use FreeDOS, offered on the same page. Both
FreeDOS and IVINIT fit on a single floppy and there will be room left for
additional utilities.

Why do you think there is a boot virus at all? If you ran IVINIT, and it found
no boot virus, then there is none.
