how do i change the boot sector in order to boot from another partition?

My disk runs 2 kind of OS 1:Windows XP
My disk runs 2 kind of OS and Vista
Patrition E:Boot
and Partition C:(system)
I want to reverse the process
and boot from C:Boot

if you did not install the 2 OS's to have a dual boot menu, then possible setting the bios to the desired disk to boot from may work.

One HD..........Two Partitions..........XP one one...........Vista on the
other..........????????????????
How did you install Vista?? Normally with XP already installed the Vista
installation should have seen the XP installation and created a Dual
Boot...where upon start up you would be given the choice of which OS to
start from. The Vista Boot Loader would have taken over the XP bootloader on
the drive that holds the MBR...usually the C drive..System drive. When
booting into Vista even though you might have installed it onto the E drive
it will report itself as the C drive.

how i can restore the dual boot and start with dual boot options?

I can only start my system with windows XP pro Sp2

download and install VistaBootPro onto the xp system and use its option to fix your boot loaders.
