After performing a clean install of my operating system which is
Windows XP Home version, I notice that the Boot.ini tab was missing on
the utility box. What causes this problem and how can I correct this.
It appears that everything else is went okay with the clean install
except for this area. Thank you in advance for the help.

What may I ask would happen if I don't somehow get the boot.ini file
installed again? Would this corrupt the operating system eventually?

You can verify if boot.ini is available by enabling option to view hidden,
system an OS protected files . Boot.ini should be in the root drive (C).
For tons of info on boot.ini go to Microsoft support - search "boot.ini"
