I need to be able to boot from my floppy disk drive for my
widows XP computer. I used to know how to do this with
earlier versions of Windows. How do I do this with XP? I
can't find how to modify my bios so it will boot from the
floppy drive first.

Have you tryed to hit delete at reboot, your first
screen? That should bring up your motherboards options or
F1.

No, this has nothing to do with what version of Windows you are
running. In fact, you have to do this *before* Windows (or any
operating system) even starts to boot.

How to get into your BIOS depends, not on Windows, but on what
motherboard/BIOS you have. One common way is to press the Del key
when you first power on, but that's not necessarily right for
your computer. Watch the screen carefully when you first boot;
there's often a message there telling you what to do. If not,
check your system documentation or check with your vendor.

Or just try the Del key. There's a good chance that's correct for
you.

Once you get into the BIOS you need to look around for the entry
that sets the boot sequence. Again, I can't tell you where that
is, because it's different in different BIOSs.
