im installing a new harddrive so how do i change the computer boot settings
fingy so it boots from the XP installation disk instead of the floppy?

In your bios. Read the manual that came with the machine to find out how to
access that.

This is what happens when you ignore good posting practices and
multipost all over the place. I already gave you answers to this
question in another thread.

Use Google Groups Advanced Search and search for your name. Read all the
answers you've gotten in all the various groups where you've posted
multiple threads.
