boot disks

my question is ,,, is there a download available to
create a clean install of windows xp pro when the
original cd-rom is not available???? i have made xp and
xp Sp1a boot disks will these work???

Not sure I understand.

If you need bootable Floppy Diskettes, yes - you can download those from
Microsoft.

However, they are no good without the Installation CD, which is - BTW -
bootable.

If your computer came "with XP installed", you will have to contact the
people you bought the computer from - it is likely an OEM copy and they are
the only support you can get.

If you bought XP seperate, well, Microsoft MIGHT be able to help - give them
