It depends. What exactly do you want the Windows 2000
boot disk for?

I need it to boot up another computer with 2000 pro on it, it just wont boot
up. I get to the windows 2000 screen and then it goes to a blue screen that
tells me to run scandisk or check for viruses but I can't get windows to boot
up to do that. I also have another computer with 2000 on it so I'm thinking
I can use that one to create the boot disk if that's possible. Not that it'll
help but I'm just trying anything.

Does W2K have a 'help and support' link in the start menu? If so, search it
for the phrase "startup disk" or "boot disk"

If your PC gets to the Win2000 screen and stops there then
a boot disk will not help you. Here is what you can do:

1. Install the problem disk as a slave disk in your other Win2000
PC and scan it for viruses, or

2. Boot the problem PC with your Win2000 CD, then perform
a repair installation.

BTW, I don't think Windows tells you to run scandisk. Scandisk
is a Windows 98 tool - under Windows 2000 it is called chkdsk.
If you intend to run chkdsk, make sure that all important data
files are backed up. Chkdsk can be quite destructive.
