Hello, I am a newbie!

Hope every one is feeling great :D

Dare I ask the Half Life 2 question?

When is it out? Anyone know the latest scare mongering/soul destroying tale of delay and confusion at Vivendi/Sierra/Valve?

5 days from now. The late release date thing was apparently just some guy at valve starting a rumour to see how quickly it would spread.

Just out of interest, do you know what the minimum specs for Half Life 2 are? I want to know if I will be able to run it :D
 
I've just had a look at amazon.co.uk the release date for Half Life 2 has been changed from 30th September to 1st December :angry:

It's looking like the delay rumor is true.

If that's true about HL2 I am seriously p****d off :angry:

I've been counting the days, sob

Also looking forward to Halo for PC & Doom III, but no sign of them yet either.

I think I've played every decent FPS, I am pining for something new
 
I'm looking forward to Deus Ex 2 more than anything, it comes out in early febuary and i'm already excited!
