Bluetooth used to work and now it doesn't (wrong move on my part I assume)!
What do I have to do to get it to work again.

Daniel

PS Help in XP didn't help.

Hi,

First you will have to check if the blue tooth services is running. There
will be a special button on top of the keyboard on the laptop and one icon
will be in the shape of B. That is the bluetooth key. Hold the button down
for a while and you should get a message showing the status of bluetooth
(provided that you installled the software for the functionality of the
special keys).

Now you should have the blue light flashing on the laptop and that indicates
that the blue tooth is functioning. In some laptops there will be a switch at
the bottom of hte laptop. You will have to turn the laptop upside down to
access this.

Do post your queries if this still doesnt help you.

The original question did not mention a laptop so here is my suggestion if it
is a desktop machine.

If it is a desktop with a USB Bluetooth adapter try unplugging it and then
plugging it back in. I have a Belkin USB Bluetooth adapter that fails if the
PC is completely unplugged and this is the only way to get it working again.
