I have os xp 2 I am trying to ues a bluetooth printer adaptor when I go to
control panel I can not find anything that says Bluetooth what am I doing
wrong ?

Have you installed the drivers as per the instructions that came with your
BT printer, if so, do you receive any error msgs.
Also make sure Bluetooth Support Service is started when you plug the
adaptor into a USB port, check it here: Start > Run > services.msc.

If all is well you should see a bluetooth
icon in the systray

If Device mgr has a yellow question mark-it sees hardware;but doesn't know
what it is. this means you need to find the software that goes with the
Bluetooth card in your pc. Either in an install cd-driver/utility cd that
came with your pc;or from the web-either from the pc manufacturer-Dell-in my
case;for example or from the actual bluetooth card manufacturer-Toshiba-in
my case. Then install the driver software and Bingo!! Bluetooth should work.
