I've got a problem that I could use some help with.

I've got XP SP2 installed, and I've got a Microsoft
Wireless Bluetooth Tranceiver (it came with my keyboard
and mouse).

I've got a Motorola v551 phone with bluetooth, and I was
able to pair it up with my phone, and everything was
fine. I could send and receive files from the phone
through the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard, and the phone
was listed as a phone in the Devices list.

Something happened (an improper shutdown most likely)
where I needed to uninstall and reinstall all of my
bluetooth devices that were connected to the tranceiver.
Now when I reinstall the phone, it's listed as
a "Computer, Desktop" device rather than as a mobile
phone. This has caused me to become unable to send files
using the wizard.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks much!

dude its that sp2 that is ur prob!!! i didn't even have to read the whole of
ur post to know cos i had the same probs!! sp2 doesn't allow u to install
any unsigned drivers as a default setting!! but fear not cos u can turn that
off althou i'm not entirely sure how i done it, all i remember is it was
fairly easy 2 find!!

or the other option is to use sp2's inbuilt bluetooth drivers!!......
