XP Home. When I start the computer it posts and goes to the XP screen after a
few seconds it blue screens and has about five lines of text in the upper
left. It reboots so fast all I can read from the message is This session. Any
ideas?

Try pressing F8 on startup and going into Safe Mode.

Right-click on My Computer and select Properties.

Click on the Advanced tab

Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings

remove the checkmark beside the box "Automatically restart".

Close everything and reboot.

What will happen then is the blue screen will freeze. This will give
you time to get teh information off the screen.

You can then start here:

Google a bit as well. There are some excellent articles.

Cannot get it to boot into safe mode. It does the same thing

If you can't get into Safe Mode, then test the hardware to make sure it
is healthy. Here are hardware troubleshooting steps:

If you have any hardware failure, replace the component(s) and see if
that helps.

If the hardware is healthy, then try a Repair Install. Make sure you
don't have any peripherals connected when you do this. If the Repair
Install doesn't work, reinstall Windows. If you neglected to back up
your data and need it, you can still get the data by booting with
Knoppix, a Bart's PE, or ERD Commander (expensive).

If this all seems too much - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional computer
repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).

Use your WinXP CD, and boot from it to the command prompt. I forget
exactly how to do this, so you'll have to look it up.

Once at the command prompt, look for the boot log - ntbtlg if I recall
correctly - in the systemroot directory (usually c:\windows). See if
you can pinpoint exactly which hardware process is hanging. That
should give you a clue about which piece of hardware is the trouble.

If you have a lot of extra hardware in the machine, then pull it all
out to the bare bones. Then reinstall one at a time until it hangs.

check on vaious MicroSoft KB articles. There should be a way of
modifying the startup config from the commnad prompt. If you can tell
it to stop the auto-restart, then you may be able to get a peak at the
error when the computer hangs.

I got it to stop rebooting. The blue screen says: Stop: cooooo21a (Fatal
System Error) The sessiion manager initilization system process terminated
unexpectedly with a status of 0xc00000032 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
