Hi when i open the windows folder everything has black writing except the
temp folder it has blue fronts what does that mean is it corupted as i can
not load a set up disc for my tom tom nav as it said not enought space in
temp folder but when i lo0ok in it there isnt much

Blue indicated the data is compressed.
Data that has not been used in a while is compressed and the font is blue to
indicate it is compressed.

Hi
Blue text usually means that the files/folder is 'Hidden' are you sure
there it enough space on your hard drive for the tom tom update ?

As a rule Windows you should delete anything older than today from the
temp folder, Windows will not let you delete any temp file currently
in use, so it is usually safe to delete anthing else

As I recall, blue means compressed.

No. Blue means compressed.

OK sorry, my mistake, its just that the folders on my system with blue
text also have the Hidden attribute, and I forgot about the
compression thing, but it was 01:05 in the morning over here :-(
