I purchased a PC with Vista already installed, it started doing P M dumps and
i contacted HP who got me to do a full system recovery..... I'm not one bit
confident they knew what they were doing as this is now a recurring problem.
The messages vary... Today's is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and i'm trying to find what
the problem is..
Oh and did a Hardware Diagnostics on my pc, the following failed:

Auxiliary Pattern Test
Bit Low Test
Walking One Left Test
Walking One Right Test
Nibble Move Test
Advanced Pattern Test

I'd like to be able to know what's wrong before i contact them about this as
they just tell me to do the same thing over and over again and it's just a
temporary solution!!!

If anyone can help that'd be great x x x Victoria x x x

Run, don't walk!
Take it back!
There is nothing you can do, it is a hardware failure.
Insist on a replacement, not a repair.

The tests that you run indicate there is an error with the onboard graphics.
Either the drivers aren't
installed or in your bios you have reduzed the size of onboard memory. Take
it Back

Looks like bad memory or worse to me.

As someone else suggested, get a hardware replacement.

Better yet, go get a refund.

Then contact a local system builder who will build you a *real* system for
possibly less money than that HP Garbage.
