Blue Screen Help

The blue screen has been appearing with these stop message codes:

0x00000008e
0xc00000005
0x804e863d4
0xf89b086c

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Carol,
This Error message can appear if you Add/remove one of these Hardwares or
Software.
You may have a Bad Memory Stick, to a faulty Power supply, also if you
remove any attached IEEE 1394 storage device (external) from your computer.
Your Graphic card sart to be defective and need changing.

If you could start in Safe mode then Right click your My Computer and select
Properties and click on Hardware Tab then click on Device Manager and see if
any Hardware with RED X or Yellow Exclamation marke on it.

Carol,

I've helped several people fix blue screens by doing nothing more than
installing the latest video driver. Even though the error may seem totally
unrelated, an outdated video driver can cause all kinds of problems. Please
try that first. It only takes a few minutes to confirm if that's your
problem before attempting more labor intensive options. Be sure and set a
Restore Point and then go to the manufacturer's web site to download the
latest driver - not the Microsoft web site. Good luck.
