I just moved my hard disk over to a ne computer and now I get this blue
Screen with the following error
0x00000074 (0xC0000005, 0x00000000, 0xFAF72434, 0xFAF721307)

Whay does this mean and how do I get it to boo thru to windows XP Home which
is instaled. Thanks

You can't put the drive in a new computer. You can make it the slave drive to
remove your personal files, but each computer must have its own operating
system. The operating system stays with the computer it came on. Product
Activation prevents moving the hard drive to a diff computer.

This is not really accurate. Yes, if you are talking about Windows XP
the license for one copy of XP is for only one computer. However, the
operating system only stays with the computer it came on if it is an
OEM version. Retail copies are completely transferable. We have no idea
what version of XP the OP has nor does it really matter in order to
answer his question.

To the OP - The reason you had the issue is that the hardware on the new
computer is completely different than the hardware on the old computer.
At the very least you will need to do a repair install; if that doesn't
work you will need to format the drive and do a clean install,
reinstall your programs from installation media and restore data from
backups.
