NAV identifiies it, points to a non-existent file (unhidden) where it is
supposed to be and cannot repair or quarantine it. I believe it has led to
IE6 being hijacked to a home page of C:\Windows\Secure.html which then calls
one of two porn sites V**gins-f**k.com or school-f**k.com.

Does anyone know of a removal tool for it. Symantec have nothing.

Fingers crossed

Hi,

check your computer for spyware.

these pesky programs do something like starting applications when they are not supposed to.

go to www.lavasoftusa.com and download ad aware 6.0 and then scan and clean your computer for the spyware. Alternatively you can use spybot.com (www.spybot.com)

Always keep the firewall on, enable ur antivirus scanner and keep it upto date along with your windows updates.

'Hi Julian,
Check out the group for something called 'CW Shredder', I think it's a browser hi-jacker killer.
