I'm not really sure if this is really the cause, but every timeI open a browser window (IE 5.0) it always opens to this location res://xaxhw.dll/index.html#96676 even after setting it to use default homepage several times it just resets back to go to that same page over and over. can someone please help me?! thanks!

In spyboy it doesn't detect it, but with HijackThis it does. So I deleted it and even went into regedit inside the current user and local user folders in internet explorers main folder and deleted those files since the destination was pointed out from the HijackThis list when i scanned. It's pissing me off that I don't have complete control over my pc. I also followed the optimization low carb thing. When I open a window even after setting the homepage to default it still goes to res://xaxhw.dll/index.html#96676 HELP ME!
