Blocking of secure Web Pages

I am having a unique problem with the sudden blocking of
all secure web pages. I have tried all the usual
attempts to unblock by reinstating all default settings,
reinstalling IE6?
Now at my wits end, can anyone help.

Make sure your firewall is not blocking port 443. See also
