block indent numbered paragraphs in front page format

I'm using front page and typing a numbered paragraph. I can not figure out
how to block indent - after I type the number and indent, I want the rest of
the paragraph to line up at the indention.

Hi,
This would be a numbered list - type a paragraph then hit the numbered list
button on the toolbar - it looks like this
1---
2---
3---
To stop the numbers hit enter twice.
