Blinking Monitor

Just upgraded my old gainward gf3 card for a radeon 9800 se aiw, but having
probs with my lcd monitor blinking randomly? it worked perfect with my gf3
....
is there any way to sort this prob?

i had flicker problems after 9800se installation (not blinking on/off). I
uninstalled all ATI software with the remove-all program, then re-installed
nforce drivers for motherboard, followed by re-install of ATI driver/panel.
flicker is gone.
