Blank Windows while I click on a link

I have a computer that has the newest version of IE and I
even installed the patch on Microsoft's website hoping
that would correct my issue. I can launch any web page
that I try, but if I click on a link within the webpage
that launches a separate window, the window pops up, but
nothing appears in the window. I have scanned by system
of viruses, and ad-ware/spy ware programs and I'm 99% sure
the system is clean. The speed on the machine is good,
and I have no real problems other then that to speak of.
I have also made sure there were no add on "pop up
blockers" either. Anyone else come across this problem,
and if so, do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?
