I need a message box that will appear when the "CallDetail" textbox is not
"Stand-by - Fire", "Stand-by - Fireworks", "Stand-by - Football Game", or
"Station Coverage"...and the textbox “TimeB†is blank a message box will
appear informing the user that “ Time B is required before be adding."

Thanks

Pushrod,

The mechanics of producing the messagebox with your conditions is pretty
straightforward. For example, you could write something like this into
a VBA procedure:

If Me.CallDetail Not In(""Stand-by - Fire","Stand-by -
Fireworks","Stand-by - Football Game","Station Coverage") _
And IsNull(Me.TimeB) Then
MsgBox "Time B is required before be adding."
End If

The main decision to be made is *when* do you want this to happen? The
code has to be assigned to an Event of the form or one of its controls.
Do you want this check to happen immediately after an entry has been
made in the CallDetail control? Or when the user tries to close the
form or move to another record or otherwise tries to save the record?
Or something else?
