Blank Space in Add/Remove Window

I am running XP Home SP2 and when I open the Add/Remove window there is a
large blank space in the list, requiring me to scroll all the way to the
bottom to find the rest of the programs. I posted a separate threand under
"Gap in..." in Windows XP Basics and tried what was suggested but no luck,
unless I used the kelly's korner .vbs file incorrectly. The gap occurred
between ATi Remote Wonder 1.4 and AutoDesk Learning Assitant. I removed both
programs and no change. The suspect listing was AutoDesk but I have that on
my other computer, which also runs XP Home and no gap there. Any suggestions
would be nice, obviously i can use it just an annoyance. BTW, the gap shows
up when i select the various sort criteria (by name, size, frequency, last
used) as well.
