blank screen

I have XP home, sp1. When I switch on I get the usual "XP--loading" screen, then it goes blank for about 90 - 120 seconds, then the "User" screen appears, and all is normal again. How can I get it to start faster?

Perform a clean boot using msconfig, and then enable the programs one
or two at a time until you find the program that delays the boot:
