blank nav2004 windows

When I run the Norton Antivirus 2004, the window comes out completely blank
with the header "norton antivirus" on top. I tried reinstalling the NAV, but
the problem persisted. I can see the NAV icon on the Task Bar and it shows
that the NAV Autoprotect is on.
