Blank Datasheets in PowerPoint 2003

How does one get that? If I were to click on the graph/chart icon on PP,
I'll get some sort of sample graph that I did not put together. I have to
clear the sample datasheet to put in my own information. How does one get a
blank one? Or is there a blank one? I find it silly to have to erase sample
information and replace it with my own info. Is there any other way, other
than cutting and pasting from Excel? Thanks

I just select all of the cells (click and hold in the upper left cell and drag
diagonally to the bottom right) and press delete. Why the phony data? So that
a sample chart can be rendered and the user can see what various settings will
look like. But practically, in the normal work flow, usually I have the data in
table format already and just copy and paste.

But . . . maybe you'll be interested in the following information, which tells
you how to have control over the chart you start with:

Or just click the upper left chicklet thingie; that selects all the cells for you
automatically.
