Our school was given several Dell computers with the original discs for
Windows 2000. After a volunteer installed Office 2000 and tried to use Word,
there was black shading in all documents. However, with the setting of blue
background/white text, I can see the text. I have not seen a problem in any
other Office applications. I think this is a clue. In Windows/Display, I
can't change the colors from 16 and I can't change the resulution. Not all
resolutions are available and when I choose one that is (on the slider), the
apply button does not apply it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
