Seeing as you "really hate vista", I can't be bothered helping you!

If you hate it so much, why go back for seconds, lol.

You probably should contact HP support about this issue if its still under
warranty.

Lots of us really hate Vista...but it is not so easy to find a computer with
XP. And, you can't always downgrade.

I am using a new laptop, it's a HP dv2500 special edition. I use Windows
Vista Home, my problem
is when i come back to my pc whenever i am doing something else i move the
mouse to get it out of
the screensaver and the monitor goes blank as if i turn off my pc. That
happens twice everytime i
come back to my laptop when i am not on it.

Is this a problem with Vista, because this happened with a Gateway laptop i
had which i took back to
the store. I thought because the Gateway laptop was 17 inches so it was way
to big for me. So i got
this HP which is the perfect size and battery life is way good...about 8
hours.

So if someone has the same problem let me know what i can do for a fix. I
really hate Vista...

There are other alternatives.
