Black screen

My computer screen is not centered. I can't click and drag it to the left were it stays black screened. Any suggestions?
 
Use the buttons on the bottom of your monitor.

More likely that your REFRESH RATE is set too low.

If your video card / monitor is incorrectly set, you'll need the right drivers. Uninstall whatever Device Manager says & let windows figure it out. (99% of the time!)

Right click on desktop, select Properties, select last tab "Settings" in new window, button "Advanced". Select "Monitor" tab in new window.

There should be a dropdown. Try a higher number - default is 60, >=72 stops the headache-inducing flicker, max possible is best setting.

If you're too dumb to try that yourself, I guess Rocky has a point.

You can't drag the desktop around. It's the whole working area that Windows has got.
