black bar on right side of screen

After an unsuccessful sp2 download, my monitor now has a black bar (well
actually a blob as its not a straight line) down the entire right side of the
screen. I've done all the monitor adjusting and had to make my viewing
screen smaller to get rid of it.

Any suggestions on what's causing this problem?

what graphic card do you have?

I would try and reinstall the graphic card driver
