black and white/ea games

having just purchased a pc with xp pre-loaded ive tried
to play many of the ea clasics series(black and white ,
emperor,erc etc)yet none of them are able to load i just
have the basic purchased pre-set up version of xp .
anyone know how i can get them to work*changing the run
to 95,98 etc does not work

Try installing the latest patches for B&W. There's one at:

You can also try this, On the shortcut righclick and
Click to expand...
select properties, there is a tab at the top right called
compatabilaties, and there is an option to select the
type of windows you would like the game to run under EX.
95,98 ect....
 
DOn't know about the others, but Black and White *needs* the latest patch
applied before it'll run on XP.
