birthday notifications

can i get alerts a week before someone's birthday? outlook reminds me on the
day of the birthday... which is a little late if i want to send them a
birthday card! is there a setting so that i get the reminders ahead of time?

Did you open the calendar event series and check the Reminder box and add a
reminder of your desired time frame?
