BIOS v1003

Hi Everyone.

I have an ASUS A7N8X not X or deluxe /// probably an older revision 1.04 or
so.
I just downloaded the latest bios AN8B1007.BIN...along with AWDFLASH.EXE
and tried to flash my BIOS... and the utility tells me...
"This is for an nforce2 chipset only" and won't flash.
Well.. duh...right..lol. Like... I know what I have... am I overlooking
something?

funny... all i had to do was reset the RTC memory...
and that fixed it. Also, my fan is running faster now
and keeping things cooler.
