Trying to do a new installation with Windows XP Home
edition, the installation gets to the point where it is
starting Windows, and I get a STOP errror message;
Session 3_Initialization_Failed
STOP: 0x0000006F (0xC0000020, 0X00000000, 0X00000000,
0X00000000)
I have updated the BIOS. How do I disable BIOS Shadowing?

startup your system, press Del when asks you if you want
to enter setup. one of the settings in there to enable /
disable. but dont mess with anything else.

Good Luck :P

Contrary to popular belief/opinion, DEL is *NOT* the universal BIOS entry
key. Granted it's used by many motherboards, but prebuilt systems have many
choices:

HP uses F1
Dell uses F2
Compaq uses F1
Sony (IIRC) uses F12

So please don't post misinformation. Tell them to read their motherboard or
system manual, don't just tell them to "press DEL"

It actually has nothing to do with who made the computer
but what bios company they used, be it AMI, Phoneix, or
another brand, so you can't say Dell uses f2 because it
may not be 100% accurate. "So please don't post
misinformation."

Compaq uses F10

Intel uses F2
