By the way I'm up to date with all of the latest patches I
use Automatic Update religiously.

Hi, use system restore and restore to a point before you removed those
items....

Yes I just found the reference. Apparently I need File &
Print Sharing because I have Office 2003 with Business
Service Manager (BCM - DUH!)
Anyway this should not result in the reboots or excessive
CPU usage.

Check your RAM - memtest86, check your HD - drive utility from the
vendor, and check your processor cooling. Some computers really
exercise the CPU during startup, and poor cooling can drive it into
thermal overload and shutdown. You could download htmonitor.exe and use
it to check the CPU temperature during some high load operation like
Spybot, etc.
