Big Message Rule - Alternative Options?

Team,

After a little searching, it seems clear that there is no way of
overcoming MS Outlook 2002's limit of 32kb on the total size of message
rules. This is rather frustrating.

I have an auto-reply that I want to send to ALL emails, EXCEPT those
from addresses that are currently in my address book.

I tried creating such a rule, and listing all the people currently in
my address book in the "exceptions" box. Unsurprisingly, I have more
than 32kb of addresses in my address book.

Any ideas on how to make this happen?

thanks,
Michael

Have you tried using the "except if sender is in specified Address Book"
exception? Then you don't have to list them individually.

Brian,

Thanks for your suggestion to use the "except if sender is in specified
Address Book" exception.

I tried this, however, it won't work - Using auto-reply is a server
side function, but "except if sender is in specified Address Book" is a
client-only exception.

regards,
Michael
