I have been getting an error message... Memory referenced location... You
know those type. Don' tknow the memory location

I followed the advice of a guy who knows a decent amount. I ran the
scandisk from the command line. I ran a memory diagnostic. Nothing. there
is no malware on the puter. I did a repair reinstall. When I did this I got
some error and had to restart. Don't know if that is involved. I did
another repair/reinstall. It worked but the same error is still here. It
was running very slow but after sp2 put on, it runs fine believe it or not.
Except for that memory reference error

I am writing for advice on:

1) What could it be? How can I fix it?

2) If there is no solution to number 1 then it must go away after I do a
total format, right, UNLESS

3) It is a hardware problem...Please let me know. My warranty runs out
tomorrow and I can call Dell

I am forever indebted for your reading this and taking the time to help me
out. Really

Eric

Call Dell immediately and log a Tech support request with them as your still
in warranty and they should honor your request for help even if the solution
takes several days.

It would help if you posted the error.

I will when I get it again. But I googled and found it to be common with
different memory locations so I figured someone would know it. Nonetheless,
in the meantime I will call Dell
