My home Dell demension systems WD 120Gig HD just crashed
(It was the only disk). I had a WD 40 gig laying around so
I replaced the crashed drive with the 40g. I just ordered
a new Seagate 120 Gig. What are recommendations as to
which drive should be the main drive? I think I want to
have two drives in the system so I don't loose any data
and have to go through having to reinstall everything
again.
Thanks

I made my 120 gig Seagate the main drive and my old 20 gig
Quantum Fireball the slave. While the advice to make the
faster drive the boot drive is good, I figured I would
always have a lot more application program data that needed
to be stored than I would personal data hence my decision.
I also keep a 60 gig USB shirt-pocket drive connected to the
system for storing stuff like downloaded programs, videos,
etc that won't fit on the Fireball and isn't too crucial
anyhow. Once a week I back up the My Documents folder to
both the Fireball and the Pockey.
