Hi,

Wondered what people were using and general thoughts please?

Many thanks.

Ian Edmiont.

JUICE is the best I have found as a Podcasting Receiver.
It has extensive libraries of podcasts out there that are
updated on websites and you don't even have to keep
track of which ones are new. You CAN and should use
the SUBSCRIBE function tho, and paste in the XML
feeds for the Podcasts you are really interested in.
That way you can immediately access the ENTIRE
LIBRARY of Previous Podcasts that the podcaster
has stored online. Many, many of em have extended
libraries of files of past shows.
Find Juice at: http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net/index.php

For a couple of the best Podcasting Libraries of
little known podcasts from Joe and Sally Dokes around
the world, (some of which are really excellent) try looking
at: http://www.digitalpodcast.com/show_alpha.php
A Bunch of NPR Podcast XML FEEDS are available at:
http://www.publicradiofan.com/podcasts.html
and even more podcast XML feeds are listed by
categories (in the light grey type in the head on the page) at:
http://www.podscope.com/

I got so stoked on this podcasting thing that I downloaded
my own Podcasting studio on Saturday. ePodcast Creator
and Producer are two great programs that have got alot of
buzz at the last national podcasting convention. They are
TIME LIMITED (30 day) fully functional demo files.
But Creator only costs $89 bucks and with only two days practise I put
together a professional 10 minute Podcast for my friends and family.
(Sort of a Seasons Greetings Audio File in MP3.) You can find this
program on the Internet at:
http://www.industrialaudiosoftware.com/products/epodcastcreator.html
This program will automatically create XML feed files, as well as a
crude HTML page that lists all your podcasts. As a HTML author of
some merit, I intend to paste the links off those pages onto more
well developed and stylish pages. For a look at what can be done
with Podcasting presence on the Internet, checkout the Podcast Pickel
Show at: http://www.podcastpickle.com/ You might find it of value to
listen to a few episodes of this show to give you an idea of the
talented people that are getting on board with Podcasting.

I only go a little Podcasting but iPodder works well for me. And I just
realised it's been renamed since I last checked :-)
