What is the best method for synchronizing AD to another
LDAP v3 directory such as iPlanet or Oracle ID? ADSI
scripting, DirSynch, the ADC, MMS? I am looking for
insight on this one. This is primarily replicating the
AD directory outward towards another directory.
Internally, there are few actual developers which hinders
scripting options.

Hi Brad,
Please consider SimpleSync from CPS Systems. You can use it to sync between
AD and most LDAP v3 directories, including iPlanet, OpenLDAP, Domino and
others. SimpleSync is currently in use by over 150 companies worldwide.
You can sync in one or both directions using a single copy of the software.
All standard attribute mapping is handled by simple text mapping files - to
scripting required. SimpleSync just uses LDAP to read from one directory
and write to the other directory - so there is no metadirectory to
learn/manage, nor is there any requirement for SLQ server. Cost for a
single copy ($8K) and 2 directories ($1K each) comes to just under $10K,
including the first year of support and upgrades.
For more information and to download an evaluation copy of SimpleSync,
please visit www.cps-systems.com .
If you would prefer to see SimpleSync 'live', please contact me at
(e-mail address removed) for a web demo using GoToMyPC or VNC.
Thank you for your time,
Jerry Welch
