Best courteous way to transfer threads from another newsgroup?

All,

I started a thread in another newsgroup (on IE8), and I'd
like to bring it over to this one to seek the counsel of the
bright minds here :) The question started life as OT for
this group, but I've reached a stall point. What's the best
way to bring it over?
