Best all-in-one Windows XP tweaker.

Hi,

What's the best all-in-one freeware Windows XP tweaking solution these
days? I mean one that can disable 8+3 file names, set unloading of DLLs,
stuff like that, all in a useful program interface? I am a relatively
seasoned Windows users, so I do not need everything fed to me by wizards,
so having a relatively complete solution is more important than simplicity.

X-Setup Pro will allow up to 1600+ changes to various elements of the
system.

Check out http://www.arjan.org/?Tweaking:Windows for my selection of
the best tweaking software.

I can recommend you to use "UA Registry Tweakage DOTNET".
That's a very powerfull program for tweaking.
Also the last freeware version of X-Setup is available.

I think it *was* freeware up to Release "6.6 Final" which probably still
will be available on several download sites.

Although v7.0 may be freeware, v6.6 of X-Setup was freeware, is almost
certainly the most complete freeware Windows tweaker, and is available
at the AXCEL216 site. The following is a link to a Google cache of that
site. My hope is that the highlighting will assist in finding the
entry; but I have never tried citing such a link before.

The latest beta of that program is only available as a forum attachment.
There's no ordinary download location for it. However, it's really an
impressive tweaking package allthough the interface and inner workings of
it is for the more experienced Windows users. I think I will stick with it
though since it's simple and quite complete.
